What is changing?

England will return to Plan A from Plan B.

The PM has stated that from Thursday next week:

  • no more status certification required by law, unless businesses decide to implement it.

  • No longer instructed to working from home by the Government.

  • Once updated regulations lapse in January, the removal of mandated face coverings indoors.

  • From tomorrow, no more use of facemasks in school corridors but encouraged to keep face coverings when indoors or meeting people not usually meet.

Rules still in place for self isolating, including where anyone tests positive for COVID.

The key regulations expire in March 2022, government seek to move this date forward and remove restrictions, learning to live with COVID in a similar way to ‘Flu’. However, crew and teams must maintain their COVID Protocols as numbers continue to stay high, inline with industry standards.
